Tinder makes it easier to share upcoming dates with family and friends by adding a special Share My Date tool. It can perform an important safety function.

According to Tinder, approximately 51% of users under 30 share date details with their friends, another 19% tell their mom. And this makes some sense: for safety reasons, it can be useful to tell someone when, where and with whom you are going to meet. And the new Share My Date feature could make this process easier, writes Engadget.

The tool will allow users to share details about a planned date. One link will collect all the detailed information: place, date and time of the meeting, a photo of the person with whom the date is to take place, a link to his profile. In addition, the page may contain some notes and may also be edited. You can plan a date a month in advance.

Tinder will roll out Share My Date over the next months. It will first be available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore, India, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Switzerland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Italy, Korea, Vietnam and Thailand.
